Kentucky State Pipe Band
Louisville Pipe Band
Adopted in 2000.
The official pipe band is the Louisville Pipe Band which was adopted in 2000
The Louisville Pipe Band is a competitive and performing Grade Four Pipe Band based in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Members are drawn from throughout the state and southern Indiana.
The band performs at corporate and community events as well as weddings and festivals. We march in several parades each year including the Louisville St. Patrick's Day Parade and the Kentucky Derby Festival Pegasus Parade.
They compete in several Highland Games every year and individual members are often found among those on the prize list. The band puts on a major concert each Spring, often selling out multiple performances at the 500 seat Clifton Center in Louisville. In lieu of a 2004 concert we performed with the
Louisville Orchestra at the Brown and Ogle Theatres in March.
More of accomplishments include:

-
Participated in the 10,000 Piper Millennium Parade in Edinburgh
-
