This school of 1,366 students offers three different certificate programs, and an associate degree in arts and science. Students can also work toward a few bachelor's degree programs in conjunction with other UW schools. Just over 25 miles from Rothschild is Stevens Point, home of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. UWSP has more than 120 undergraduate degree programs including accounting and land use planning, and a few associate degrees and graduate degree programs. The school boasts low tuition, at about $7,000 a year for in-state students and $14,500 for out-of-state students. This is higher than the $51,598 median income statewide. A six percent population growth in the last decade suggests this small town could continue to attract new residents in the future.
