The duties of a paralegal are varied and interesting. You would probably spend time involved in the wide range of preparation and follow-up required by court cases and hearings. You may also undertake an internship to develop your practical skills.
As a qualified paralegal/legal assistant you would probably work in a private law firm. You might also find openings in insurance companies, banks, or corporate law departments, among other locations.
